LIMO BAND LAUNCHES ITS NEW ALBUM IN A SHOW AT THE HELOÍSA ALBERTO TORRES CULTURAL HOUSE

About the Event - The event, which will take place on March 22, 2025, will mark the launch of the first CD by LIMO Band, called "Retratos de uma Velha Juventude", which will be available on digital platforms on March 21.

The event will begin at 6 pm and will feature the opening act by TRAMA Band.

LIMO Release - Formed in 2018 in Itaboraí - RJ, the band LIMO stands out in the alternative rock scene, with influences from grunge and post-grunge from the 90s and 2000s, as well as a psychedelic touch of Brazilian music. With strong lyrics and visceral riffs, the band addresses themes such as mental health and social issues in their lyrics, providing an intense and reflective musical experience. Limo is in the process of releasing its first album, which will be released on 03/21/2025 on all Digital Platforms by Distribuidora Eletric Funeral.

Release Album - "Retratos de uma Velha Juventude" is LIMO's first studio album and promises listeners a unique and sonic journey to their old youth, with its visceral riffs and vocals, its drawn-out solos and its lyrics that address social issues and daily emotions, with dense and profound themes that we are mostly unable to express.

Composed of 10 tracks, the album reflects the trajectory of the band that, over the course of 7 years of existence, has been gaining space and a loyal fan base. Retratos de uma velha juventude is the result of the influences, aspirations, desires and anxieties that have guided the four members so far.

The recording, mixing and mastering of the album was handled by music producer Matheus Nunes (Estúdio Mojo), known for his work with bands such as Lunoz, Radioativa, Melton Sello, Bogotah, Rotterdan, etc.

With a sound that encompasses the main influences of 90s grunge and 2000s post-grunge, with a sentimental touch of Brazilian popular music, the band reinvents itself and proves its potential to leave a mark on the music scene.
