The Casa de Cultura Heloísa Alberto Torres, Itaboraí's main cultural center, has been a part of Itaboraí's residents' lives for over three decades. Managed by the City Hall in partnership with IPHAN, the Center offers guided tours that enrich the public's experience, combining knowledge, curiosity and cultural immersion.

The second floor houses the permanent exhibition, comprising the documentary and museum collection of the Alberto Torres Family and the Casa de Cultura itself. The space was recently renovated, gaining a new visual identity and updated information to make the visit even more engaging. With identified items and explanatory banners, visitors can explore the history of the historic mansion and its objects in a detailed and interactive way.

During the guided tour, a heritage guide accompanies visitors, sharing relevant information and interesting facts about the items in the collection and the historical context of the House and the family. This service is available to the general public during CCHAT's opening hours, and tourist or school groups can schedule guided tours in advance for a personalized experience. All free of charge.
