IPHAN CARRIES OUT A TECHNICAL VISIT TO THE CASA DE CULTURA HELOÍSA ALBERTO TORRES

Last Monday (02/03), the Casa de Cultura Heloísa Alberto Torres (CCHAT) received a technical visit from the superintendent, Patrícia Regina Correa Wanzellere, and the technical director, Rodrigo Panza, from the National Institute of Historic and Artistic Heritage (IPHAN) in the State of Rio.

During the visit, the technical team made a detailed inspection of the historic building and the collection, which belong to IPHAN and are in the process of being listed by the federal government. It is worth noting that several observations were made, and actions were proposed for the site.

For the manager of the Cultural Center and undersecretary of the Municipal Department of Culture, Alan Mota, the visit represents an important step in the preservation and appreciation of the cultural heritage of our region.

“This is a crucial moment for strengthening our partnership with IPHAN. The Casa de Cultura Heloísa Alberto Torres, as the largest cultural center in the region, plays a fundamental role in promoting art and research. We are committed to offering artists, researchers and the general public a quality cultural program that properly preserves our heritage,” said Mota.

The visit also marked another step forward in the process of renewing the agreement between the City of Itaboraí and IPHAN, which aims to ensure the continued management of this important cultural space.
