Commitment to local culture
Alan Mota, Itaboraí's undersecretary of culture and manager of Casa de Cultura Heloísa Alberto Torres, highlighted the importance of opening the doors of CCHAT to training new talents:
“Itaboraí is a great breeding ground for artists and for us, as a great cultural center that we are, it is very important to open up space so that we can continue to train more and more talents, so that they can continue to enchant our city and the entire country.”
With this wide range of free workshops, the Casa de Cultura Heloísa Alberto Torres reaffirms its leading role in the cultural and artistic training of Itaboraí, encouraging the active participation of the community and contributing to the strengthening of local intangible cultural expressions.
The creation and maintenance of the CCHAT workshops was a guideline and a request from Mayor Marcelo Delaroli to keep the incentive for cultural initiation in the city active and alive, offering students the opportunity to develop their talents within the arts and acquire experiences that can be taken to the job market.
